What strings do you use?
I myself prefer 009 on my Stratocaster, 010 on my Telecaster and flatwound 011 on my Ibanez hollow body.

I have 009 on my Telecaster. Would you recommend the 010?

It depends, it's a personal preference. I find 009 on my telecaster too thin, 010 gives me a better tone, and I have to work a little harder, which I like. My telecaster (maybe different on yours) gets a little unstable with very thin strings; if you put just a little too much pressure on the frets, the guitar goes a little out of tune.
