The approach to get minor scales is exactly the same, with the difference that the distances between the tones are different. Earlier we saw:
Distances in major scale: W-W-H-W-W-W-H.
Distances in minor scale: W-H-W-W-H-W-W.
We'll look at the scale of D minor.

We want the distances to be W-H-W-W-H-W-W, so these are the ones that should be corrected:
The solution is to lower the B to B flat (Bb):
